ETHICS POLICY

At Interventional Dynamics, Inc., we are committed to assuring our products are safe and effective while maintaining the highest ethical standards in research and testing practices.

All of our products have been tested in humans with full informed consent. If significant prior knowledge can be gained through animal research, this is conducted efficiently and rationally.

Most researchers do not feel that informed consent in animals is possible. However, most animals have guardians, as do children, who care greatly for their best interests. We work with their guardians to assure that risks are minimal and potential benefits to the animal are significant. This informed consent is no less than we offer in human research. No animals are sacrificed in the testing of our products.

We feel this new paradigm in research is humane, rational, and worthy of support.
